Is Queen Elizabeth celebrating her birthday in quarantine?

There are fears that the true UK coronavirus case figure could be as high as 10,000 – with the numbers expected to increase over the coming weeks. This difficult situation which is causing problems and panic in many countries of the world has even ” funked ” the royal court.

Plans are in place to quarantine the queen Elisabeth and Prince Philip, at Sandringham if the outbreak worsens.

The Queen was chauffeured to Windsor on Thursday. A royal source said for ‘’The Sun’’ that the queen is in good health but it was thought best to move her because a lot of her staff are a bit panicky over coronavirus.

The Queen has met a lot of people there recently. She hosted a Palace reception on Tuesday but avoided shaking hands .

She is weeks away from her 94th birthday and advisers believe it is best to get her out of harm’s way. Till now the palace garden parties for 30,000 guests in May and June are going to be cancelled or postponed.
