What inspired you to embark on your journey as a life coach and public speaker, and how has that evolved over the last 15 years?
My journey began after experiencing a profound personal transformation that opened my eyes to human potential. Witnessing my breakthrough from limiting beliefs made me passionate about helping others do the same. What started as informal mentoring evolved into structured coaching when I noticed patterns in how people were held back by invisible mental borders.
Over these 15 years, I have evolved from focusing primarily on motivation to developing deeper methodologies for sustainable transformation. Initially, I worked with local groups of women; now I facilitate international workshops and virtual programs across continents. The core mission remains the same, but my approach has become more nuanced, incorporating neuroscience and cultural psychology to address the complex ways we internalise limitations.
As someone fluent in multiple languages and cultures, how has your ability to connect across borders shaped your coaching and leadership approach?
My multilingual background has been instrumental in recognising how deeply language shapes thought patterns. When coaching, I often notice that clients express limiting beliefs differently in their native languages versus second languages. This awareness allows me to help them reframe concepts by switching linguistic perspectives.
Culturally, I have developed a coaching style that respects different communication styles while addressing universal human needs. For example, with clients from high context cultures, I focus on building relationships before challenging beliefs, while with those from more direct cultures, I might address limitations more explicitly. This cultural fluency helps me create safe spaces where women from diverse backgrounds feel truly seen and understood beyond surface-level differences.
What were some of the most defining personal challenges you’ve had to overcome, and how do they influence your message today?
One defining challenge was breaking free from cultural expectations about success that did not align with my authentic self. I spent years pursuing external validation through conventional achievements until a burnout forced me to confront what truly mattered to me.
Another significant challenge was finding my voice after years of being told to “tone down” my expressiveness. Reclaiming my natural energy and communication style was transformative.
These experiences directly shape my message today I emphasise the importance of questioning inherited definitions of success and encourage women to trust their inner wisdom even when it contradicts societal expectations. My workshops often include exercises that help participants identify where they have compromised their authentic expression to fit external moulds.
You’re known for your energetic, humorous, and bold style—how do you balance authenticity and professionalism when leading transformative experiences?
I view authenticity and professionalism not as opposing forces but as complementary strengths. My energy and humour create psychological safety that allows any individual to engage with difficult topics without becoming overwhelmed. The boldness comes from a place of deep care; I am willing to ask challenging questions because I am fully committed to my clients’ growth.
I keep this balance by being intentional about when to bring lightness and when to create space for depth. For example, I might use humour to diffuse tension around a particularly vulnerable revelation but then hold space for the profound insight that follows. Professionalism means having the discernment to know which approach serves the moment, while authenticity means bringing my full presence to each interaction.
What role did your education in International Business and Psychology play in developing your coaching philosophy?
My dual background has given me a unique lens to understand how internal psychological processes interact with external systems and structures. From psychology, I gained insight into how beliefs form and change, while international business taught me to recognise systemic patterns and cultural dynamics.
This interdisciplinary perspective informs my coaching philosophy by helping clients navigate both internal mindset shifts and practical implementation in complex environments. I often draw on organisational psychology principles to help women not just overcome personal limitations but also navigate institutional barriers effectively.
How does the mission of Inspiring Transformation Solution reflect your values and long-term vision?
The mission of Inspiring Transformation Solution directly embodies my core value that transformation happens at the intersection of self-awareness and courageous action. The name itself reflects my belief that inspiration alone is not enough; we need practical solutions to implement change.
My long-term vision is to create a global movement where women access their full potential by dismantling internalised limitations and supporting each other across cultural boundaries. I envision a ripple effect where each transformed woman becomes a catalyst for change in her community, eventually shifting collective consciousness around what is possible.
What common fears or self-imposed limitations do you see most often in the women you coach, and how do you help them break through?
The most pervasive limitation I encounter is the “not enough” narrative, women feeling they are not qualified enough, experienced enough, or confident enough to pursue their ambitions. This often manifests as perfectionism, procrastination, or settling for less than they desire.
Another common limitation is what I call “borrowed boundaries” restrictions adopted from family, culture, or society without conscious examination.
I help women break through these limitations through a three-step process: First, I tend to identify the origin of the belief and acknowledge how it once served as protection. Second, I challenge its current validity using evidence from their own experiences. Finally, I reframe and replace it with an empowering belief that aligns with their authentic aspirations. This process includes both cognitive restructuring and embodied practices that help integrate the new mindset.
Can you share a transformational story or moment from one of your workshops that deeply impacted you?
One particularly moving moment occurred during a workshop in Spain with women from across Southeast Asia. A senior executive who had been silent throughout most of the first day suddenly shared that she had been maintaining two separate personas, her “professional self” and her “true self” for over 20 years.
During an exercise on authentic expression, she revealed her passion for environmental conservation, something she had never discussed in her corporate life. The vulnerability of this sharing created a profound shift in the room. By the workshop’s end, she had developed a plan to integrate her environmental passion into her leadership role, creating sustainability initiatives within her organisation.
What impacted me most was seeing how one woman’s courage to integrate her fragmented self, inspired the entire group to examine where they were compartmentalising their authentic selves. It reinforced my belief that true transformation is contagious.
What practical tools or strategies do you always include in your seminars to ensure lasting transformation?
I always include three essential elements for lasting change:
First, the “Reality Mapping Exercise”, where participants identify specific thought patterns, physical sensations, and behaviours that signal they are operating from limitation. This self-awareness tool helps them catch themselves in old patterns before they fully take hold.
Second, “Micro-Commitment Practice is “a structured approach to breaking down transformative actions into tiny daily steps that build momentum and confidence over time.
Third, “Accountability Partnerships” that extend beyond the workshop. These relationships provide ongoing support and an external perspective when old patterns resurface.
Additionally, I provide customised journaling prompts that help participants continue their self-discovery process independently, along with monthly follow-up sessions that address integration challenges as they arise in real life.
Looking ahead, what’s your biggest vision for the global community of empowered women you’re building?
My ultimate vision is a world where women’s unique perspectives and leadership styles are fully expressed and valued across all sectors of society. I envision a global network of women who have broken through their self-imposed limitations and are actively lifting others as they rise.
Specifically, I am working toward creating an international institute that combines research, coaching, and leadership development, a place where transformational methodologies will be shared across cultures. This community will serve as an incubator for women-led initiatives that address global challenges through collaborative, compassionate approaches.
The ripple effects of this work will extend far beyond individual transformation When women step fully into their power and purpose, they change families, organisations, communities and societal structures. My vision is to accelerate this positive change by connecting these empowered women across borders, creating a powerful force for global transformation.
