Global Woman Awards 2021; The prestigious award winners revealed
The most important Global Woman event of the year concluded on Monday 8th March with the Global Woman Awards beautifully following the Global Woman Summit 2021.Before the awards, and a wonderful occasion for International Women’s Day, Global Woman founder and CEO Mirela Sula interviewed two incredibly wise women, Kim Kiyosaki and Mary Buffett, on money, assets, liabilities, good debt and bad debt, and sage advice on investing for the longer-term strategy.
This was followed by the talented Amela Agastra for some musical entertainment. Amela (only seventeen years old) sang a cover of “Be Honest” by Jorja Smithand then her own original composition.
For the Global Woman Awards, women and men from all over the world had been voting in different categories, to select their winners. There were nine categories decided by the huge number of public votes received and also a number of surprise awards.
Although the ceremony was online, the magic and emotions were not lacking. The women were wearing stunning dresses for the gala evening that lit up the awards ceremony. The Global Woman Award winners were announced with Oscars style fanfare by Mirela Sula. They are:
Lifetime Achiever Award: Mary Buffett graciously accepted the award live online from her home in the US. Mary is a best-selling author, international speaker, entrepreneur, political and environmental activist.
Global Man Award Winner: Rob Moore was humble and grateful for his award in his live speech from England. He is the founder of The Rob Moore Foundation, a prolific pod caster, and was a speaker at the Global Woman Summit with an engaging and highly relevant topic.
Global Woman Inspirational Award Winner: Lisa Graziosi was incredibly surprised and had to stop her jogging while out in the warm US sunshine to accept her award and express her delight at being the winner. Lisa is atop stylist, speaker and founder of “Extension Bar”.
Global Woman Leadership Award Winner: Amy Wieam Mahmoud. Amy was a deserving winner of this prestigious award and expressed her joy at the news of being the winner. Amy is the CEO of AKK Infinity Group & Angel Investor.
Global Woman Achiever Award Winner: Stephanie Molina y Vedia. Stephanie proudly accepted her award in recognition of her achievements. Stephanie is the Managing Director of As mantra Sports and Consulting.
Global Woman Influencer Award Winner: Sara Holland. Sara was delighted to accept her award live in the Global Woman Arena from Mirela Sula. Sara is Eco Influencer; Single Parent Advocate
Global Woman Corporate Award Winner: Kate Bellosillo. Kate came on the line at 5.15am her time in the Philippines to accept her award from Mirela. Kate is the General Manager of Kyani Philippines & Single Mother of 8.
Global Woman Entrepreneur Award Winner: Nancy Bosnoian. Nancy was not present at the time of the award announcement and notifed after wards. She is a social entrepreneur, speaker, consultant and founder of End No Sleepeaker.
Global Woman Honorary Award Winner: Rosalina Tan. A dignified award fully deserved by Rosalina. We were unable to hear her live at around 5.30am her time in the Philippines but she sent a message afterwards to say how greatly honoured she was to receive her first award. Rosalina is the owner and founder of Pili Ani Beauty& Happy Pili Tree Farm.
Global Woman Surprise Awards
Now onto the surprise awards announced by the Global Woman founder and CEO Mirela Sula:
Global Woman Surprise Inspirational Award: Kim Lee Macquet. Kim was shocked and overcome with tears of happiness in accepting this award. Kim is the founder of SELFLoVE Success and the Regional Director of the Global Woman Club Johannesburg.
Surprise Corporate Award: Cornelia Schaurecker – Global Group Director for BigData and AI @ Vodafone Group appeared live to gratefully accept her award.
Surprise Entrepreneur Award: Shirley Powell. Shirley expressed her delight in accepting this award live from the US, who is the CEO & founder of Your Life in Your Hands.
Surprise Business of the Year Award: Sammy Blindell. Sammy was not present when the announcement was made but was informed afterwards and expressed her surprise and happiness in winning the award. Sammy is a multi-award winning speaker, bestselling author and CEO of Brand Builders Club CEO.
Global Woman Club Regional Director Awards
These were awarded to two women in recognition for their outstanding work for each of their clubs and in supporting Global Woman:
KickiPallin–GWC Stockholm, Author, CEO of Pallin Communications
KorneliaZegiel – Frankfurt, Speaker, Senior Financial Analyst
Both Kicki and Kornelia shed tears of joy and happiness in receiving their awards.
The evening ended on a glow and tide of warm feelings and looking forward to meeting in person at the Global Woman Summit and Awards 2022 in London.
