What pivotal question posed by Ludmila’s partner sparked your journey towards deeper self-discovery and feminine empowerment?

In our lives, we have pivotal moments when the new consciousness within emerges, and it is a comment from a stranger or an observation from a close one that triggers what is ripe for change. When I met my partner, I was a hard-working professional in the City of London, trying to prove to myself that I could make it and be successful and independent, a single foreign woman in the heart of the world’s financial centre. I had to work triple hard, long hours, desktop lunches, tight male-cut suits, no weekends, and very short vacations to fit into the unforgiving culture of the corporate world. A question from my partner arose one Sunday when I had to cancel our dinner for an urgent call to do some work in the office. He simply said that if you continued like this, you would never build a relationship, neither with me nor with anyone else. This awakened a woman in me, as relationships were always an important part of my life, and at that point, I was longing for a committed, lasting one. This was also a reminder that there was beauty and fun in life, the joy of connecting to people just because they are and not for what they are, being present for your close ones, and the importance of self-care and nourishment—all very feminine qualities—which I had to give up in the competitive race for success. This success had a high price tag, as I ended up having a stress-related hormonal disbalance that led to infertility. That was a massive wake-up call for me, as a woman.

How did your upbringing in Russia contribute to your appreciation for the human condition and curiosity about spirituality?

Despite growing up in the atheist nation of the Soviet Union, I harbored a persistent yearning for spiritual connection. I believe that spirituality is a human condition that is just as natural as other human needs for food and shelter. Despite the atheist environment in Russia, my spiritual curiosity remained unwavering as of many Russians. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russian Orthodox churches witnessed a surge of people re-discovering religious traditions and beliefs. Many of these individuals traveled to India to connect with Buddhism or Vedic traditions, demonstrating the inherent spiritual curiosity of many Russians.

Describe your transition from a career in computer sciences to embracing the arts and spirituality in London.

I think of myself as someone genuinely sensitive to the collective energy flow and underlying trends. I am also very future-oriented. My fascination with computer science began during technological breakthroughs in the electronics and information fields. I was a high school graduate, talented in math, interested in human advancements, and computer science had this futuristic allure for me. My first steps in my professional career were working as a programmer and then banking at a state-owned bank in St. Petersburg. The interest in the arts also began in Saint Petersburg, which is a city museum and the cradle of world cultural heritage. So after my university degree in math, I worshipped intellect, and upon graduation from the Academy of Culture and then Christies Education in London, I ran my gallery of Russian art in London and believed that art would save the world.

How did your engagement with Kundalini yoga initiate your path of introspection and transformation?

Yoga came into my life at a time when I was going through a whole chain reaction of life changes. I had an established practice as a professional consultant focusing on intellectual activities, but my soul sent me a very clear message that I simply followed. Upon taking my first Kundalini class, I felt I discovered a key to a hidden dormant potential within me.

I started my spiritual journey by discovering and embracing all parts of me, welcomed and not welcomed. It made me realize that saving the world starts with saving yourself, raising your consciousness, and understanding your earthly and divine parts as interrelated and inseparable. This is the essence of yoga teaching. When I joined Kundalini Yoga, the ancient philosophy of yogic science revealed to me the deep fabric of human design and its place in the universe. As a yoga student, I became a yoga teacher and then a teacher’s trainer, embarking on a profound transformational journey. I was lucky to be part of the Kundalini yoga school, which was very attuned to the evolutionary processes that is happening in humankind.
Through yoga, I learned how to create awareness of myself and the world around you, develop clarity, and find ways to align myself with the universal truth. I learned how to maintain mental and physical discipline and make it a lifestyle. Through deeper introspection, I looked at myself as a woman in the modern world, realizing a unique path that women have through their ability to create life and their profound connection to the mother Earth. I also realized that many modern women have lost touch with their true nature, and we must re-remember this connection and the feminine intelligence we embody to restore the harmony humanity has lost.

What are some of the spiritual and healing modalities you immersed yourself in during your journey?

As I was following my spiritual journey, I was creating awareness about who I am, my story, and my limiting beliefs. In this process, my teachers, my own practice, and my spiritual mates were playing the role of a mirror.  As I was discovering myself, I intuitively moved from one healing modality to another to address those issues. These modalities include Chinese medicine, rebirthing, family constellations, mystic school teaching and channeling, past life regression, ancestral healing, shamanism, Chi Gong, Tao practices, Mandala dance, tantric numerology, women’s-centered coaching, sound and crystal healing, and energy healing.

Explain the concept of the New Feminine Movement, as advocated by you, and how it challenges traditional societal norms.

My personal experiences and learnings led me to an understanding of the complexities and the blessings of being a modern woman, and this  gave birth to the concept of the New Feminine.
The New Feminine is a practical quest and call for women to explore, embrace, and express the essence of what it is to be a wholesome, inspired, self-actualizing modern woman. She embodies feminine consciousness on every level of her being—body, mind, and soul.

The New Feminine is not gender-based. Everything in existence has a feminine and masculine side, according to the Hermetic Universal Law of Gender. However, men and women manifest their inherent qualities or intelligence differently due to their distinct biological functions and make-up. In a woman’s body, feminine qualities prevail over masculine ones, as the main biological function of a woman is to mother new life. From the dawn of humanity, all ancient people have worshipped the Divine Feminine, or Great Mother, believing that there is nothing more important than Life itself as Life is a Gift from a Creator.

Yet, over the last 6,000 years, according to anthropologists and historians like Anna Baring, Seren and Azra Bertrand, and Maria Gumberas, humanity changed its course and priorities, allowing masculine qualities to dominate human existence. Some explain it by saying that people started competing for land, needing to find ways to survival, and that masculine qualities were better suited for such survival, whereas feminine qualities were generally better suited for sustaining life.

The New Feminine advocates for a new balance, bringing both masculine and feminine consciousness and qualities to a new level, not just survival, but the creation of a new evolutionary paradigm where all life can flourish and thrive.

This call came as humanity finds itself in times of massive transformation, looking for new signposts and values to transform the existing paradigm that nearly brought us to extinction.

The New Feminine is a direction for a New Human’s consciousness, anchored in the innate balance of masculine and feminine, healed and mutually supportive.

Creativity, intuition, nurturing, and a fierce passion for a thriving future for all are at the core of the New Femininity. Both men and women can harness these qualities to transcend conventional roles and expectations. The New Feminine is a vision that celebrates the inherent worth and dignity of every individual, irrespective of gender or background.

Yet, the New Feminine is calling on modern women to lead this evolutionary call through new forms of inner and outer work, as required by modern times with their challenges and opportunities. The New Feminine urges us to delve into, embody, and convey the feminine intelligence that has endured long-standing individual and collective oppression. And who, but not we women, with feminine intelligence so present in us by birth, can fully embody and model these feminine qualities for society and change that it needed?

Why do you believe that the New Feminine Paradigm is particularly relevant in today’s society?

The New Feminine Paradigm is a call to restore balance in a world plagued by patriarchal structures and systemic inequalities. Why now? We have lived in a society that has prioritized survival at all costs and fed into an oppressive notion of power, leading to disconnection from ourselves, separation from each other, and distraction from nature while employing extractive practices and individualistic thinking. We have all seen how this has brought humanity to a critical juncture, resulting in a profound crisis within every system that governs our lives. We even witness a crisis in our sense-making of what is happening to us right now. According to world thought leaders, academics in many disciplines, ecologists, humanitarians, and cutting-edge researchers in transformational change and human development, the next decade is absolutely pivotal in the history of humans as a race. It is a time of rapture, whether we make it or break it, but it is also a time of renaissance for our human potential. This is the time for our collective awakening.

How do you emphasise the interconnectedness of all life, and why is this principle crucial in the face of contemporary challenges?

The concept of interconnectedness is based on the antient principle of sacredness for all life and nature, which is a fundamental principle that underpins all existence. Humans not only intertwine with all life on Earth, from the smallest microorganism to key species in flora and fauna, but we also connect to the entire vast Cosmos. The Vedic tradition called it the Indra net, and quantum science calls it a non-locality effect, when an event in time and space has immediate repercussions in other parts of Cosmos. The cosmic hologram was named by the leading New Age scientist, Jude Currivan. We are not isolated individuals, but threads in the intricate tapestry of visible and invisible life. In times of crisis and uncertainty, the intertwining of our destinies and fates becomes increasingly evident. The New Feminine reminds us of the sacredness of life and unity between all people on the planet in an age marked by social upheavals, political division, new religious wars, environmental degradation, and geopolitical order based on the dominance of economic and military power. The New Feminine Call to Action is a call to reclaim our collective humanity, recognize us as one family and all biospheres as one family, and work together towards a flourishing and regenerative world.

What practical steps do you recommend for translating the vision of the New Feminine into actionable change?

Three steps form the foundation of The New Feminine’s approach: exploring the feminine intelligence and sacred laws of life, embodying it through right livelihood, and expressing it in impactful action in service to others—a process that starts with self-awareness and extends to collective engagement.

In my personal offering, through somatic sessions, women’s circles, women centered coaching and educational work, I encourage women to start cultivating a deep connection to their bodies, hearts, and minds, fostering qualities of listening empathy, care, and creativity. Through somatic practices, movement, mindfulness meditation, and heartfelt connection with others, we can begin to bridge the gap between inner transformation and outer action. My emphasis on embodied wisdom speaks to the need for a holistic approach to personal and planetary healing—a journey that unfolds on multiple levels, both individually and collectively.

In what ways do you envision women’s inner work and outer service contributing to the collective endeavour of embodying the New Feminine?

For women hearing the call, there is an invitation to start the inner work of self-discovery and recognising your unique gift that you can bring in service to humanity at this pivotal time. Whether it’s cultivating mindfulness in daily life, connecting with other women in groups, circles of trust and listening, somatic classes, creative  projects, or engaging in activism for peace and equality, each of these steps can bring us closer to the essence of the New Feminine. When we connect to our bodies and our souls, we expand in our relationships, families, and communities. Guided by love, inspired by vision, and committed to action, we can become agents of change.

In my recent work, I actively participate in women’s organisations and networks dedicated to gender equality, peacemaking, restoring partnerships with men, and bringing feminine intelligence to the forefront of systemic change. Collectively, we must weave a new story, engage in creative collaboration, and embrace the ultimate feminine action of bringing a New Life. The New Feminine Vision reminds us that as we embark on a path of profound transformation—one that reverberates across the cosmos—together, we can shape humanity’s destiny and our planet’s future.
