In a world that celebrates constant doing, Mihaela-Iuliana Gasi invites women to pause, breathe, and come home to themselves. Through the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda and the power of modern mindset coaching, she helps women quiet the mental noise, realign their energy, and rediscover the calm beneath the chaos. Her mission is simple yet profound — to guide every woman back to the clarity and self-trust that already lives within her.
“Clarity comes when women pause, listen to their bodies, and trust themselves.”
You help women move from chaos to clarity. What does that really mean in your own words?
Helping women move from chaos to clarity means helping them step out of the endless mental noise and return to the truth of who they are. Many women today live on autopilot — constantly giving, constantly doing — yet feeling disconnected from their inner needs and deeper purpose.
My work begins with one simple question: “What do you truly need to feel fulfilled?” Through a blend of Ayurveda and mindset coaching, I help women slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and listen to their intuition again. They learn to trust themselves, to make decisions from a place of calm rather than confusion.
Sometimes we don’t even realize that we’re merely functioning, not truly living. Other times, we know it — but our life circumstances keep us trapped in that rhythm. That’s when having someone to guide you back to yourself becomes essential.
What many women don’t realize is that inner chaos isn’t just emotional — it can also be amplified by what and how we eat. Ayurveda teaches that we are all guided by three vital energies, called Doshas: Vata (air and space) — governing movement, creativity, and the nervous system; Pitta (fire and water) — ruling transformation, digestion, and inner drive; and Kapha (earth and water) — providing stability, grounding, and emotional warmth.
When these energies fall out of balance, our thoughts become scattered, emotions unstable, and even our sleep and digestion suffer. That’s why, in my work, I merge the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with mindset tools — to realign body, mind, and emotions. Because true clarity isn’t about perfection; it’s about inner harmony, a state where you feel at peace with yourself, no matter what’s happening around you.
You started your journey with Ayurvedic massage therapy. How did working with women’s bodies teach you about their emotions and minds too?
My journey into the world of Ayurveda began unexpectedly: as a patient myself. Facing a health challenge, I experienced firsthand how deep and lasting the effects of Ayurvedic massage and lifestyle could be. Witnessing my own body transform sparked a deep curiosity: What more is possible — not just for me, but for others too? Working with women’s bodies in massage therapy soon revealed to me that the physical does not live in isolation. A woman may come for a back massage, but the tension I feel under my hands often holds a story of overthinking, suppressed tears, or identity lost in the chaos of daily life. Touch is among our most primal needs. From the moment we enter this world, contact anchors us, lets us feel alive. Research shows that infants deprived of sufficient physical touch can suffer developmental and emotional disruption. During a massage, I’ve witnessed powerful moments of release: a woman who barely knew she was holding grief, suddenly relaxing into a sigh—and sometimes, she begins to weep. In that sacred space she allows herself to be again. And it became clear: our bodies hold what our minds sometimes cannot face. Our emotions are encoded in our muscles, our digestion, our breath. That realization led me to extend my work from solely Ayurvedic body therapy into mindset coaching. Because when the body speaks, the mind must be ready to listen.
What made you decide to add mindset coaching to your work?
Becoming a single mother to a teenage daughter was one of the most transformative experiences of my life. There came a moment when I realized that some of the challenges I was facing -both as a mother and as a woman – were not external, but internal. I was caught in my own patterns, limited beliefs, and emotional blocks. And I understood that if I wanted my daughter to grow up confident and free, I had to break those cycles within myself first.
That realization opened the door to a new chapter of learning. Through my studies in Ayurvedic Psychology — the ancient science of the mind within Ayurveda — I discovered that what we now call mindset coaching has its roots in this timeless wisdom. Ayurveda, which in Sanskrit means “the knowledge of life,” teaches that the mind and body are inseparable and that true well-being begins with self-awareness.
This understanding gave me tools to transform not only my own way of thinking but also to guide other women through their own inner evolution. I began to see how often my clients’ physical imbalances were rooted in the mind — in self-doubt, perfectionism, guilt, or fear.
Now, combining Ayurveda and Mindset Coaching allows me to support women on all levels: body, mind, and emotions. It’s not just about healing, it’s about awakening self-trust, inner strength, and the freedom to create a life that truly feels aligned.
How do you combine ancient Ayurveda wisdom with modern mindset tools in your sessions?
In my sessions, I always begin with the mind — with the story a woman tells herself about who she is, what she must do, and what she believes is possible. The way she speaks about her life, her family, or her work often reveals where the deeper imbalance lies. Once we understand those mental and emotional patterns, we can begin to align the body with the same clarity.
That’s where Ayurveda becomes so powerful. It gives us a language to understand energy how thoughts, emotions, and physical symptoms are all connected. Together, we identify her Dosha type and the areas that need balance, then choose the most supportive therapies, whether it’s an Ayurvedic massage, nutrition plan, daily rituals, or breathwork.
The mindset tools help her to shift how she thinks and feels, while Ayurveda helps her to shift how she lives and embodies that change. When both come together, transformation happens on every level- mental, emotional, and physical.
Many women today feel stressed and overwhelmed. What are some simple things they can do every day to feel more calm and balanced?
The first step is to change the way we speak to ourselves. Instead of saying “I have to,” try saying “I get to.” That small shift from pressure to gratitude already changes your energy and how your body feels.
Second, I always recommend starting the day with Pranayama — conscious breathing exercises. Just five to ten minutes each morning, before the rush of daily activities begins, can calm the nervous system and bring you back into your body.
Another powerful practice is journaling. Writing helps you observe your thoughts and emotional patterns with awareness instead of judgment. When we become conscious of our habits and are willing to change them, transformation naturally follows.
It’s not about doing many things — it’s about doing small things with presence. These simple rituals, practiced daily, open the door to more peace, clarity, and balance in every part of life.
How are the body, mind, and emotions connected in your experience?
In the same way that we are connected to nature — we are energy in motion. Every thought creates an emotion, and every emotion finds a home somewhere in the body. When we think peaceful thoughts, our body expands and softens. When we carry fear or anger, the body contracts and holds on.
In Ayurveda, the mind and body are never seen as separate; they are two expressions of the same life force. The mind is like wind — invisible but powerful — and the body is like the earth that receives its imprint. So when we work with the mind, we influence the body; and when we care for the body, we calm the mind.
True healing happens when we bring awareness to both — allowing emotions to move, rather than suppressing them, and restoring harmony to the energy that flows through all of us.
What’s one common myth about Ayurveda you wish more people understood?
One of the biggest misconceptions about Ayurveda is that it’s complicated or difficult to integrate into daily life. In reality, Ayurveda is deeply practical – it’s about understanding your own nature and living in alignment with it. Ayurveda is not a one-size-fits-all system; it’s a holistic way of living that honors individuality. It teaches us to listen to our own body’s wisdom and to find balance in ways that truly fit who we are.
You’re now creating online programs to reach more women. What’s your dream for this next chapter?
That’s such a profound question — because for me, this next chapter is about purpose. The more we understand why we are here, the more we live in alignment with our truth. And when we live in that alignment, we radiate something very powerful -love.
My dream is to create online spaces where women can reconnect with themselves, heal, and grow — no matter where in the world they are. I want to bring more quality of life to women. And when we ask what “quality” truly means, we can return to a simple yet powerful definition: quality is the fulfillment of essential needs. In that sense, Ayurveda and mindset work help women fulfill their deepest human needs — peace, clarity, self-trust, and love.
Because when a woman feels whole within herself, she naturally becomes a source of harmony for her family, her community, and the world around her. Ultimately, what we all long for is love — to give it and to receive it. If my work can help even a few women return to that state of inner harmony and love, then I know I am living my mission. Because when women remember who they are, the whole world becomes a kinder, more beautiful place.
Can you share a story about a woman who really transformed through your work?
Yes, there is one woman who comes to mind immediately. She was in her early fifties, successful in her career, but constantly exhausted. During our sessions, she began to realize that every time she said yes to others, she was actually saying no to herself. Her body carried the tension of years of self-sacrifice, always putting everyone else first.
Through our work together, she learned one of life’s most powerful lessons: that caring for yourself is not selfish, it’s essential. As she reconnected with her needs, she started setting healthy boundaries, resting without guilt, and doing things that truly nourished her.
One day, she told me with a glowing smile that she had booked her first solo vacation — something she had never dared to do before. She went alone, embraced the silence, the freedom, and came back radiant, saying, “I finally felt what it means to be with myself — and to enjoy it.”
Moments like this remind me why I do what I do. Transformation begins the moment a woman remembers that her own well-being is the foundation of everything else she gives to the world.
What message would you love every woman to remember about herself?
Dare to dare — and miracles will unfold. Every woman carries a light within her, but too often, she hides it behind fear, doubt, or the belief that she’s not enough. The truth is: the moment you dare to trust yourself, to take that first small step toward what feels right in your heart, life begins to open in unexpected and beautiful ways.
You don’t need to have it all figured out you just need the courage to begin. When you honor your own rhythm, listen to your intuition, and act with love, the universe always meets you halfway.
So my message to every woman is simple: Be brave enough to believe in yourself, gentle enough to rest when you need it, and open enough to receive the miracles waiting for you.
