What drew me to this line of work? Well I was once a passionate costume designer, weaving tales through fabric and color in the magical world of film and television, I decided to pool my skills with NLP mastery and life coaching with decades of styling and design.. I now work even more passionately as an identity and image coach.

How did this transformation occur, and why does it matter?

For starters, the journey from costume designer to identity and image coach represents a natural evolution fueled by a desire to delve deeper into the essence of storytelling – not just on screen, but in the lives of individuals seeking to craft their own narratives. As a costume designer, I developed a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of nuance, recognizing that every stitch, every shade, and every accessory contributes to the larger tapestry of a character’s identity.

But beyond the realm of costume design, I discovered a passion for helping others uncover and celebrate their own unique identities. Whether guiding actors in embodying their characters or assisting clients in crafting their personal brands, the underlying principles remain the same: authenticity, empathy, and a commitment to storytelling.

What sets me apart as an identity and image coach? Firstly, my background in costume design equips me with a profound appreciation for the power of visual communication. I understand how subtle shifts in appearance and presentation can speak volumes about one’s personality and aspirations. Secondly, my experience working in the dynamic and fast-paced world of film and television has honed my ability to adapt to diverse personalities and situations, ensuring that my coaching approach is tailored to the individual needs of each client. I have worked with such varied individuals such as, Kim Cattrall, Antonio Banderas, David Schwimner, Joanna Lumley, Sam Neil, Anna Paquin, Nicola Walker, Anna Chancellor, Sophie Okanedo to name just a handful from a 3 decade career. Working at this level, with this calibre of actor I know that I am able to establish rapport and communication with alacrity. I deal with my clients stress and vulnerability whilst looking at how to turn these into strengths.

Whatever level you are working at, I will adapt.

But perhaps most importantly, I bring a genuine passion for empowering others to embrace their true selves and confidently share their stories with the world. Whether it’s helping a client refine their personal brand or coaching them through a career transition, I am committed to guiding them towards a more authentic and fulfilling path.
