A Civilization of Care: Ilaria Buccioni on the Future of Regenerative Leadership
In a world where speed often outruns meaning, Ilaria Buccioni stands for a gentler kind of revolution — one rooted in vitality, awareness, and human connection. As a transformational guide and co-creator at Peoplerise, she helps organizations rediscover their living essence, where success is measured not just in prl
Polloofit but in trust, joy, and shared purpose. With her unique blend of systems thinking, empathy, and natural well-being, Ilaria invites leaders to see companies as ecosystems — alive, interconnected, and capable of deep regeneration.
At Peoplerise, the change and transformation we accompany go beyond individual growth — they touch the very architecture of how organizations live and evolve.
We help shape new organizational models that reflect the complexity and interdependence of our times — regenerative, self-managed, and rooted in trust and collective intelligence.
You say you still feel like a young girl, full of belief that we can make a difference. Where does that belief come from?
I think wonder is a kind of intelligence. There’s still a part of me — that curious, hopeful young girl — who looks at the world as a field of possibilities. That’s where my belief in change comes from: the sense that every gesture, if done with care and intention, can ripple outward and transform something.
Through my work with Peoplerise, I’ve learned that even in the most complex systems, there’s always a point where life wants to bloom. And that we can be the spark that helps it happen.
What does “making a positive impact” mean to you in the work you do every day?
To me, making a positive impact means leaving behind more vitality than we found.
In organizations, that often looks like creating spaces of trust, dialogue, and shared meaning — where people reconnect with what truly matters: their energy, their values, their ability to shape the future together. A positive impact isn’t just a result. It’s a way of showing up in the world.
You help organizations go through profound change. What usually sparks that kind of transformation?
Transformation starts with awareness.
It usually begins when a company pauses long enough to ask, “Why are we doing what we do?”
It’s not about processes — it’s about presence. When people stop reacting and start truly observing, something shifts. Change stops being a strategy and becomes a natural movement, like a field coming back to life after the rain.
Why do you focus on people, teams, and systems all at once? Can one change without the others?
No part can e volve alone.
A person who grows in a system that doesn’t support them will hit invisible walls.
A team that develops without a shared direction will scatter.
And a system that changes without involving people will always remain fragile.
At Peoplerise we often say we work with head, heart, and hands — meaning we hold together personal awareness, team relationships, and systemic design.
That’s where true innovation is born.
Can you share a story where small changes made a big difference inside a company?
In a manufacturing company we supported, HR wanted to introduce a new feedback culture. We started with something simple: training managers to ask a genuine question instead of giving only instructions.
Within months, the quality of conversations completely changed. People felt seen. Conflicts softened. Even performance indicators improved.
Sometimes, deep change begins with a simple question: “How are you, really?”
You’re also passionate about natural well-being. How does that show up in your personal or professional life?
For me, well-being isn’t a luxury — it’s a vital skill.
We can’t support transformation in others if we’re disconnected from our own bodies or out of balance. That’s why I bring constant attention to energy, regeneration, and deep listening — both in my personal life and in my work.
As a small entrepreneur, I’ve chosen to bring to the world some truly forward-looking tools that help people take back responsibility for their own health and vitality.
My experience with phototherapy comes from this same place — the desire to merge science, light, and nature to support the body’s natural intelligence.
These patches don’t contain chemicals; they work with specific light frequencies that activate the body’s own self-healing and regenerative processes, improving sleep, energy, focus, and overall balance.
It’s a gentle yet powerful way to help the body remember how to heal and realign itself from within.
Alongside that, I use portable bioresonance devices — small instruments that detect and harmonize energetic imbalances in a completely non-invasive and personalized way.
What drew you to explore gentle, non-invasive ways to support health and wellness?
Gentleness is a powerful, underrated force.
I’ve always believed the body doesn’t need to be “fixed” — it needs to be heard.
Non-invasive methods attract me because they work with the body, not against it. They speak the same language as life itself: one that doesn’t impose, but accompanies.
In both business and wellness, I’ve seen that energy responds far better to kindness than to control.
How does the way we treat ourselves affect how we lead others? And how do you care for yourself?
What we don’t nurture inside, we can’t offer outside.
When I take care of myself — through meditation, nature, breathing, or simply walking in silence — my way of listening to others changes.
Authentic leadership is born from a grounded body, a calm heart, and an open mind.
It’s an act of energetic coherence.
What kind of future do you imagine if more companies started thinking the way you do?
I imagine companies that behave like living ecosystems — where prosperity is not only economic, but also human, relational, and ecological.
Places where success is measured not just in numbers, but in trust, joy, and positive impact on people and communities.
A future where organizations become laboratories for collective regeneration.
At the end of the day, what keeps you going? What’s the bigger picture you’re working toward?
What keeps me going is the vision of a culture rooted in vitality and beauty.
Every day — whether I’m in a workshop, a company, or a simple conversation — I feel the possibility of lighting a small spark of awareness.
My dream is for more people to live and work in harmony with themselves, with others, and with the Earth.
That’s my bigger picture: a civilization of care.
