FROM CONSTRAINT TO GLOBAL VISION: MY JOURNEY TO BUILDING AN ACADEMY WITHOUT BORDERS

For many years, I lived with a dream that felt too big for the world around me. I knew I wanted to build something meaningful, something that empowered young people and women to rise, lead, and imagine brighter futures for themselves. But I also lived in an environment that tried to convince me to stay small. I was told not to take risks, not to make noise, not to disturb anything. I was encouraged to blend into the background, even when my heart wanted to expand.

Yet dreams have a way of whispering persistently. They don’t disappear. They wait for us to be ready.

My turning point came when I realised that my son deserved to see a mother who chooses courage over fear. I wanted him to witness the strength of a woman who stops waiting for permission and begins creating her own path. And I wanted him to understand that no matter how difficult the starting point, the world becomes larger the moment you decide to try.

That decision marked the beginning of my journey as the founder of Excellence Online Academy and a new identity for me.

Why I Chose to Build an Academy

I have always believed that education is one of the most potent tools for transformation, but education must evolve. The world our young people inherit is global, digital, competitive, and fast-changing. Traditional models are no longer enough.

I saw students who needed more than grammar lessons; they needed confidence, creativity, leadership, resilience, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
I saw women who needed more than courses; they needed strategy, visibility, support networks, and the belief that they deserve to scale.

And I saw myself in both groups.

So I built an academy that reflects the person I was becoming: bold, international, ambitious, and committed to empowering others.

Today, our students come from Jordan, the UK, Europe, Asia, and beyond. They pitch business ideas, collaborate across countries, step out of their comfort zones, and discover who they are capable of becoming. And our Women Founders Accelerator helps women turn early-stage ideas into structured, scalable ventures supported by global expertise.

This work is not just professional. It is deeply personal.

The Identity Shift Behind the Success

People often ask me how I managed to build an academy while dealing with personal challenges, relocation, cultural pressures, motherhood, financial constraints, and the doubts that every entrepreneur carries.

The truth is: I had to reinvent myself along the way.

I had to unlearn the beliefs that told me I needed to stay small.
I had to rebuild confidence every time it was shaken.
I had to trust my vision even when people dismissed it.
I had to show up again and again, even on days when I felt invisible or overwhelmed.

This identity shift is the part of entrepreneurship that no one talks about enough. Before you build anything on the outside, you must first build strength on the inside.

The academy grew as I grew. The more I stepped into my voice, the more the mission expanded. And the more I believed in myself, the more opportunities opened: partners, global collaborations, international students, and now the honour of showcasing our work at BETT London 2026.

Why BETT Matters to Me

In January 2026, I will present Excellence Online Academy at the world’s largest education innovation event. For many, it is just an exhibition.
For me, it is symbolic.

It represents rising from a place where I once felt restricted.
It represents proving to myself, not to the world, that courage builds opportunities.
It represents the global stage where my voice, my work, and my mission stand proudly.

We will also launch the Youth Empowerment Magazine, a publication celebrating teenage founders, innovators, and women entrepreneurs shaping the next generation. This project, created with endless hours of passion, is a milestone not only for our students but for my own journey.

Lessons I Want Every Woman to Know

Through this experience, I have learned that:

You don’t need to come from privilege to build something powerful.
You don’t need permission to begin.
You don’t need perfect conditions to start creating your future.

What you need is belief,  even if it begins small. You need resilience, especially when people underestimate you. And you need to remember that every step forward, even the tiny ones, is shaping a story bigger than you imagine.

Women often carry the weight of expectations, limitations, and unspoken rules. But when a woman finally steps into the identity she was meant to have, something extraordinary happens: she doesn’t just change her own life; she changes the lives of everyone she teaches, raises, mentors, or inspires.

My Future Is Bigger Than My Past

I am still growing. I am still learning. I am still becoming the woman I always knew I could be. But today, I stand proudly in the life I once feared I would never have the courage to pursue.

Excellence Online Academy is more than an institution; it is a global movement shaped by resilience, purpose, and a belief that education can transform futures.

If there is one message I want to leave with every woman reading this, it is this:

Your story is not finished. Your dreams are not unrealistic. You are allowed to want more. And you are capable of building it.
