Dr. Kellyann Petrucci: Where Wellness Meets Women’s Leadership
From bestselling author and TV personality to Regional Director of Global Woman New York, Dr. Kellyann is championing confidence, connection, and leadership for women worldwide.
Bestselling author, TV personality, and globally recognized health expert, Dr. Kellyann Petrucci has built her career helping millions look and feel their best. But for her, true transformation goes deeper than wellness—it’s about giving women the confidence and platforms to lead, connect, and thrive. Now, as the Regional Director of Global Woman New York, Dr. Kellyann is bringing her vision to one of the most influential cities in the world. Her mission? To create a community where women’s stories are celebrated, their voices amplified, and their leadership elevated on a global stage.
“When women fuel their health, they ignite their power—and lead with confidence, purpose, and impact.”
You’ve built an incredible career as a bestselling author, TV personality, and health expert. What inspired you to take on the role of Regional Director for Global Woman New York?

I’ve spent my career helping women look and feel their best, but I’ve always believed true transformation goes beyond health—it’s about empowerment. When the opportunity arose to lead Global Woman New York, I saw it as a chance to bring women together, amplify their voices, and help them build the kind of confidence that changes not only their lives but also their communities.
How do you envision Global Woman Magazine and Club New York serving women in the city and beyond?
New York is one of the most influential cities in the world, filled with ambitious, visionary women. My goal is to create a space where women can connect, collaborate, and grow. Through the magazine and the club, we’ll shine a light on women’s stories, give them platforms to be seen and heard, and foster a supportive network that extends far beyond the city.
You’re known worldwide for helping people transform their health. How do you connect your wellness philosophy with empowering women in leadership and business?
Wellness is foundational. If you don’t have your health, it’s nearly impossible to lead effectively, grow a business, or show up fully in your life. I teach women to treat their bodies like their most important asset—fueling themselves with nourishing foods, prioritizing rest, and managing stress. When women feel strong and centered, they lead with clarity, energy, and vision.
What are some of the biggest health challenges you see ambitious women facing today, and how can they overcome them while pursuing success?
So many high-achieving women are running on empty. They sacrifice sleep, skip meals, and live in a constant state of stress. The result is burnout, hormonal imbalances, and disconnection from themselves. The first step is awareness—recognizing that health is not a luxury, it’s non-negotiable. From there, it’s about building simple rituals: eating nourishing foods, protecting sleep, moving daily, and learning to say “no” when needed.
You turned a small business into an international wellness brand. What lessons from your entrepreneurial journey do you share most often with other women?
Two lessons stand out. First, many women wait for perfect conditions, but success comes from taking action and learning along the way. Second, never underestimate the power of communication. My greatest strength has been translating complex health concepts into simple, relatable messages that resonate globally. Clear, authentic communication is what builds trust, connection, and impact.

Community and networking are at the heart of Global Woman. How do you see the New York community growing under your leadership?
I see it becoming a hub of collaboration and inspiration, a place where women feel both supported and challenged to rise higher. By curating powerful events, mentoring programs, and media opportunities, we’ll create a ripple effect that empowers women not only in New York but across the Global Woman network worldwide.
Many women struggle with confidence and visibility. What strategies have helped you show up powerfully on national TV, in books, and on global stages?
Confidence isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you build through preparation and practice. I always tell women: master your message and know your “why.” When you’re deeply connected to your mission, the nerves quiet down. On a practical level, I prepare relentlessly, but I also give myself permission to be human—to laugh, to tell stories, to connect authentically. That’s what resonates most.
With millions of people following your work, how do you balance being a public figure with staying authentic and connected to your mission?
I remind myself daily that I’m here to serve. When I write, speak, or appear on television, I picture one woman who needs to hear that message in that moment. Staying grounded in service keeps me authentic. I’ve also built a team and personal practices that keep me aligned, from meditation to daily walks, so I stay connected to both my audience and myself.
What role do you think female-run businesses play in shaping the future of health, wellness, and leadership?
Women bring a unique lens to leadership, one that blends strength with empathy, and strategy with intuition. In health and wellness especially, women understand the lived experiences of other women, which allows them to create solutions that truly resonate. I believe female-led businesses will be at the forefront of redefining not just wellness, but leadership itself—making it more inclusive, holistic, and impactful.
Looking ahead, what’s your vision for Global Woman New York, and what impact do you hope to create for the women who join?
My vision is to make Global Woman New York the go-to platform for women ready to step into their power. I want every woman who walks through our doors—whether physically or virtually—to leave feeling seen, supported, and inspired to take bold action. The ultimate impact? To create a community of women who are not just chasing success, but building lives filled with purpose, health, and legacy.
