Diane Maillard: Awakening the Body’s Natural Power to Heal
From battling autoimmune illness and the challenges of early motherhood to guiding others through hormonal imbalances, emotional exhaustion, and chronic conditions, Diane Maillard has transformed her own healing journey into a mission. As an integrative homoeopath and therapist based in the Netherlands, she combines homoeopathy, light therapy, and hypnotherapy to help women and children restore balance, strengthen their immunity, and reconnect with their innate vitality.
“True healing begins when we listen to our bodies with patience and presence.”
What inspired you to start this kind of healing work?

My own search for healing — and my desire to help my son — inspired me to do this work. At the time, I was struggling with thyroid autoimmune disease and felt frustrated and unsatisfied with my own health, while feeling helpless as my little boy fell ill almost every week during the winter. I longed for something deeper, something that could gently support both of us in a safe, non-toxic way.
When I discovered Colorpuncture and Homeopathy, everything began to shift. I experienced profound changes in my own health and energy, and I learned to understand my son’s illnesses in a completely new light. Today, I see a fever as a vital sign of the body’s strength, and I know how to support him with natural remedies — helping his body heal without suppressing symptoms.
I’ve always been fascinated by the incredible connection between emotions and physiology. More recently, I’ve returned to hypnosis, exploring how to help people shift limiting beliefs and deeply held patterns. My work is very much like being a detective — tracing the true cause of illness, whether it stems from the physical body, inherited tendencies, emotional wounds, or even experiences beyond the visible world.
This journey continues to shape how I care for others: with deep listening, compassion, and a profound respect for the unique pace and path of each person’s healing.
How did your health journey shape the way you care for others now?
Living with thyroid autoimmune disease was incredibly challenging. At first, I felt frustrated and overwhelmed by my symptoms. Now, I see it as a disguised blessing. My desire to truly understand why this was happening — and how to heal — pushed me to dive deeply into the body’s physiology and pathology.
I began following webinars with some of the world’s best homeopaths, especially from India, and was amazed by the profound results they achieved with their patients. This ignited a passion in me to learn and keep exploring.
Pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period were also intense and transformative experiences. During those moments, I discovered firsthand how powerful homeopathy can be — not only for physical recovery but also for emotional support during life’s most vulnerable times.
These experiences shape how I care for others today. They taught me that healing is rarely linear, and that compassion, patience, and deep listening are essential. They also inspire me to help my clients navigate their own journeys with the same understanding and care I once longed for.
For someone new to Homeopathy, Colorpuncture & Hypnosis, how would you explain what it does?
Homeopathy works like a mirror for the body’s wisdom. A remedy is chosen because it reflects the person’s physical and emotional state, and through dilution it becomes completely non-toxic. Rather than just covering up symptoms, homeopathy gently stimulates the body’s own healing process.
Healing often follows a natural way of cure — moving step by step, from deeper issues toward the surface, and from the most important systems of the body to the less vital ones. This is why homeopathy can help strengthen immunity, prevent recurring illnesses, and bring balance not only in the moment but also in the long run.

Esogetic Colorpuncture is a gentle light therapy that uses beams of colored light on acupuncture points. Each color carries a frequency that communicates with the body’s cells, nervous system, and energy pathways. The result is often better sleep, improved digestion, balanced hormones, pain relief, reduced stress, and a deep sense of calm. On a deeper level, it can help release old emotional patterns and reconnect people with their natural vitality.
Hypnosis with NLP techniques allows people to shift limiting beliefs and release emotional patterns that hold them back. By guiding the mind into a relaxed, focused state, we can gently replace old habits and open the way for new choices, greater confidence, and emotional balance.
“When women reconnect with their bodies, they uplift themselves and their communities.”
What kind of shifts do you see in people after working with you?
It depends on whether it’s an acute issue or a long-standing condition, but often clients feel less pain, more relaxed, and more in control of their bodies. I’ve supported end-of-life patients who were able to find more peace in their final journey. I’ve seen teenagers leave my practice smiling, simply because they feel seen and understood. In my workshops, I see parents gain confidence in how to care for their children during common winter ailments, learning which remedies to give and when.
Why do you think so many women feel disconnected from their bodies today?
In today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world, women are constantly multitasking and under pressure to perform. In this rush, many lose touch with the natural rhythms of life — and with their own hormonal cycles — which over time can disrupt the nervous system. On an external level, disconnection could also be shaped by cultural conditioning, body image ideals, limiting beliefs, and even unhealed trauma. All of these layers can distance women from their innate wisdom.
What’s one small step someone can take to start feeling more balanced?
We are all unique, so balance will look different for each of us. At its heart, balance means aligning with ourselves & our true purpose. For some, the first step may be a small lifestyle change; for others, it might be giving more to their community, caring for nature, or simply pausing to listen inwardly. Even the smallest shift can open the way to greater harmony.
How do you blend structure and intuition in your sessions?
I begin by listening carefully to symptoms and health history to understand the imbalance. At the same time, I use my sensitivity to feel emotions and patterns beneath the surface. This combination of structured knowledge and intuitive guidance helps me choose the best therapies for each person.
What does healing mean to you — beyond just getting rid of symptoms?
To me, healing is about listening to the message behind the symptoms. The body whispers when something is out of balance, and if we don’t listen, it begins to shout louder. True healing is making peace with ourselves — being honest, real, and aligned with who we are. It’s not just the absence of illness, but becoming the best version of ourselves in this life.
What’s something you’ve learned from your clients that’s stayed with you?
I’ve learned that healing is a two-way journey. Clients with a similar vibration often come into our lives to help us grow as well. Every person teaches me something new, and we always learn from one another.
What gives you hope about the future of women’s health and healing?
I see women reclaiming their cycles, choosing natural approaches, and creating supportive communities. This collective movement toward self-knowledge and empowerment gives me great hope — because when women heal and reconnect to themselves, they uplift their families and entire communities.
