Why I’m Bringing No-B.S. Biohacking to Global Woman’s Club
By Lindsay O’Neill – Wellness Entrepreneur, Culinary Medicine Chef, and Host of Optimize W(e)
I’m honored to join Global Woman’s Club as a columnist, where I’ll be sharing one mission: to cut through the overwhelm and confusion of wellness—and deliver biohacking truths with zero B.S.
Before diving into health optimization, I spent over 20 years as a top executive in AI, tech, and marketing. I was featured in Crain’s, Forbes, CBS News, and The New York Times as far back as 2007. I led global teams, spoke on world stages, and built a high-powered career. It looked glamorous from the outside.
But the truth? My real transformation started when life hit me—literally.
In 2014, while pregnant with my third daughter, I was hit by a car. I spent weeks on bedrest, terrified for her life. That trauma cracked me open—and launched a relentless quest to understand healing, nutrition, and root-cause wellness.
Then came another curveball: I was diagnosed with two autoimmune diseases. I spent years (and every dollar I had) trying to heal. Just when I was finding my footing, my daughter became sick. I had no choice but to go even deeper.
That pain became my purpose. I earned my Culinary Medicine Certificate from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Culinary Institute of America in 2019. I completed ACE Fitness’ Wellness Coaching program and launched Small Hinges Health in 2020—founded on the idea that small hinges swing big doors. You don’t have to change everything to change everything.
In 2023, I shared my story on the TEDx and Gaia stages. That same year, I discovered biohacking—and it took our healing from the ten-yard line to the end zone.
The impact? Unbelievable. My daughter began to thrive. I watched my clients heal faster. When combined with culinary medicine, biohacking created exponential shifts. I knew I had to share it.
So in 2024, I launched Wellness Eternal, the Biohacking Index (think Yelp for vetted wellness solutions and providers), and the Optimize W(e) content platform and podcast—to give real people real answers, not gimmicks.
By 2025, I was honored to be named a top entrepreneur by MSN and NY Weekly Magazine. I now write about human optimization for Forbes, Women’s Health Magazine, Wall Street Journal, Elle, Maxim, Rolling Stone, and more—because the world needs clarity, not confusion.
Take one small step. You don’t need to overhaul your life. One intentional shift a day can unlock massive change.
Get a guide. If you don’t know where to start, visit the Biohacking Index and download our free Biohacking Guide at the footer of wellnesseternal.com.
Forgive yourself. Bad days happen. The key is to reboot, not spiral.
Stop comparing. You are bioindividual. Your body, your timeline, your wins.
Ask for support. Don’t do it alone. Healing happens faster when we’re held.
I’m here to help you reclaim your energy, sharpen your mind, and optimize the way you live and lead—without the fluff.
RUN (don’t walk) to www.biohackingindex.com, follow us on Instagram at @wellnesseternal_ and @smallhinges, and stay tuned for my upcoming columns—because you deserve more than silly wellness trends.
You deserve the truth. Let’s optimize W(e) together.
With love and purpose,
Lindsay O’Neill
