For over three decades, Antigoni Louca has been a trailblazer in holistic wellness, seamlessly blending science-backed therapies with ancient healing practices. From physiotherapy and sports medicine to ThetaHealing and Laughter Yoga, she has dedicated her life to helping others achieve balance in mind, body, and spirit. Inspired by her grandmother’s natural healing wisdom and her father’s commitment to healthy living, Antigoni has developed innovative approaches, including Laughter Yoga Greek Dance, to bring joy, connection, and well-being to people worldwide. In this exclusive interview, she shares her insights on stress management, the power of movement, and her mission to transform lives through holistic health.
My family was an inspiration for me, especially my grandmother Anthousa. Her name means blooming. My grandmother was considered a natural doctor and she was very respectful in the area, as she was healing people without any charge. Also I was inspired from my father Savvas. He taught me to eat healthy, have many healthy habits, encouraging me to continue learning by his living example.
These modalities are based in science too. There are many researches for the laughter and laughter yoga benefits. The therapeutic benefits of meditation are also scientifically proven.
During lockdown from 2020, I was offering online free Laughter Yoga classes to help people cope with stress. As I love dancing, I was teaching dancing, including Greek music and dancing during my classes. Therefore, I had the idea to create a song with a positive meaning of togetherness and love.

The biggest challenges professionals face today are stress-related. High expectations, deadlines, overwhelmed, anxiety, many responsibilities and lack of balance.
Yes I saw a lot of examples of transformation during my practice. Thetahealing is a powerful meditation technique, using theta brain waves for healing.
Movement is the key to life. Our ancestors were moving, hunting, fishing, running. Nowadays we don’t move enough and this fact leads to negative effects for our health. We need to exercise daily to have good physical, mental and emotional well –being.
My motivation is the positive impact on people’s lives. My advice is to love what you choose to do and offer it with passion and enthusiasm to others.
