The Magic of Being with Alexandra Malaika

Alexandra Malaika invites people into a gentle yet profound exploration of their own inner magic — the unique essence that is always present, waiting to be noticed and embodied. Through women’s circles, guided inner journeys, ritual practices, and her emerging program SeinsMagie (the Magic of Being), she supports people in recognizing their inner light and discovering practical ways to let it move through their lives.

Her work is not about becoming someone new, but about remembering and activating what has always been there: a personal, sacred spark that shapes how we relate, create, and simply be. In her circles and programs, people find a space to rest, reflect, and reconnect with themselves, discovering tools and practices that help them bring their inner magic into everyday life.

“Inner magic isn’t created—it’s remembered, embodied, and expressed.”

You speak about helping people reconnect with their inner magic. What does that mean, and how do you guide them to experience it?

Inner magic, or SeinsMagie, is the unique essence within every person — the combination of our predispositions, experiences, inner guidance, and natural gifts. It is not something we need to create; it already exists. My role is to invite people to recognize it and explore how it can be expressed and embodied in daily life.

I often start with women’s circles, which are gentle, supportive spaces. In these circles, participants can relax, share, and sense their own inner rhythm and light. Through guided exercises, reflections, and rituals, they begin to notice how their inner magic shows up — in their choices, relationships, and ways of being.

What led you to focus on women’s circles and these types of inner explorations?

Circles have always fascinated me because of the dynamic energy they create. They are more than just groups; the circle itself becomes the teacher. During my training with Awakening Women as a facilitator, I saw how powerful this collective space can be. People feel safe, supported, and seen.

I also love guiding people through inner processes — helping them recognize what blocks or nourishes their magic. Seeing someone discover a part of themselves that was always there is deeply moving and inspiring.

How do you create a safe space for people to explore deep or challenging emotions?

I combine professional experience with personal understanding. Growing up in an emotionally chaotic environment taught me to navigate emotions with awareness and clarity. Over nearly 20 years of practice in conscious personal development, I have encountered many deep feelings and learned how to hold space for them without pressure or judgment.

In my circles, I always emphasize that each person’s journey is respected. Small steps are as significant as large ones. I also work with assistants and spiritual guidance to hold the energy of the space, ensuring that everyone feels supported and safe.

Tools like drum-making and guided storytelling appear in your work. How do these support people in connecting with their inner magic?

These are optional pathways, not the main focus. Drum-making, for example, is a physical and sensory way to embody an inner calling. Feeling the materials, constructing the drum, and then hearing its sound gives the inner voice a tangible form. Storytelling is something I use to illuminate ideas and experiences, helping people understand themselves or their process, but I don’t teach it as a skill.

Even simple engagement with the body, rhythm, or imagination can help someone notice how their inner magic expresses itself.

Your work draws on shamanism, astrology, spiritual psychology, and ritual practices. How do these approaches fit together?

I don’t see them as separate; they are overlapping languages for the same core: understanding life, connection, and inner guidance. Each tradition provides a different lens for exploring inner magic. Some resonate more with shamanic journeys, others with psychological reflection or astrology. By weaving these approaches, I create multiple ways for people to connect with themselves and discover their answers.

The key is not the tradition itself, but the personal resonance it sparks — a doorway to experiencing and embodying inner magic.

How do you help someone who might be skeptical about spirituality experience their own magic?

I approach skepticism with curiosity and empathy. Magic is not limited to spirituality; it’s about noticing what is alive within us. Even small acts, choices, or personal expressions — like the way someone organizes their workspace or tends to their home — can reveal inner magic. My role is to help people see and feel these expressions, often without labeling them as “spiritual.”

If someone comes with skepticism, I look for what already resonates with their life and invite them to explore it in a practical, tangible way.

What is the most rewarding part of your work so far?

Witnessing people reconnect with themselves — with their own light, clarity, and joy — is the greatest gift. Many have spent years trying to optimize or fix themselves, only to realize that their inner magic was always present. Observing this awakening, even in small moments, is incredibly fulfilling.

For me, it’s also a reminder to live my own magic fully — to approach life with lightness, presence, and joy.

What everyday practices bring you joy and inspire your work?

I love adding touches of magic to everyday life — cooking with intention, savoring coffee with spices, wandering in my garden, or enjoying time with my two cats, Mira and Peter. These simple, present-moment practices remind me that magic is everywhere, and that joy and wonder are choices we can embody daily.

Looking ahead, what can people expect from your new program, SeinsMagie?

The program guides people in remembering, activating, and embodying their inner magic. It’s a combination of reflection, ritual, and practical exercises — not prescriptive, but supportive of each person’s unique process. Participants will explore what their inner magic needs to thrive and how it can flow freely in life.

It’s an invitation to step into your own essence, feel fully present, and live with awareness and joy.
