The Identity Shift That Changed My Income (My Method Explained)
Who you believe you are is more powerful than any strategy you’ll ever use
I used to believe I’d earn more if I worked harder. If I just improved my strategy, my income would follow. But the truth? It wasn’t a new business model or perfect productivity system that changed my life. It was the moment I reprogrammed my identity.
You see, behind every stuck entrepreneur is not a lack of talent but an outdated identity that no longer fits the vision they’re trying to step into.
I’m Alina Hlipcă-Radovici, Mind Reprogramming and Success Expert and founder of the yourmoneymaster method. I’ve helped thousands of entrepreneurs, leaders, and professionals elevate their income by starting where it matters most: their identity. Because when your internal identity doesn’t match the level of success you desire, no amount of effort will fully land.
Let me walk you through how this shift works—and how you can apply it starting today.
The Real Problem Isn’t Strategy—It’s Self-Image
Most entrepreneurs stay stuck not because they lack ambition, but because their inner programming tells them, “This is not who you are.”
You may desire to lead, to earn more, to speak on bigger stages—but a part of you still sees yourself as the underdog, the over-giver, the one who stays behind the scenes. That part silently sabotages every leap you try to take.
Brain reprogramming is about shifting the root identity so your nervous system feels safe embodying a new level of visibility, leadership, and wealth.
This is exactly what I teach in the yourmoneymaster method, and it’s how I went from emotional and financial contraction to overflow and alignment.
Let’s break it down.
Step 1: Recognize the Identity That’s Keeping You Small
Ask yourself: Who am I afraid of becoming?
This might sound strange at first. Why would you fear becoming more successful?
But your brain isn’t wired for success—it’s wired for familiarity. If you’ve spent years identifying as the selfless helper, the “nice girl,” the martyr, or the quiet achiever, your system will resist becoming someone who is seen, paid well, or boldly confident.
For me, the old identity was: “I’m the one who gives everything and asks for nothing.”
That belief kept me undercharging, overworking, and quietly resenting the very business I built.
The first step was admitting that I was afraid of stepping into the version of me who receives. Not just gives.
Who is the old version of you that you’re still trying to protect?
Step 2: Choose the New Identity (and Program It Daily)
Once I recognized that my income was capped by who I thought I was allowed to be, I created a new identity: “I’m a woman who receives abundantly, serves with power, and allows her work to be well-rewarded.”
Then, I reinforced it daily through a set of brain reprogramming practices, including:
- Morning identity anchoring: I would speak aloud my new identity every morning, using my voice to anchor it in my nervous system.
- Visualization: I would see myself in high-income situations—negotiating, receiving payments, speaking on stages—while feeling safe in that vision.
- Micro-alignment: I acted as if the new identity were already true. This meant raising my rates, saying no more often, and dressing for the woman I was becoming.
This work isn’t just mindset—it’s neural rewiring. You’re creating new patterns in the brain that override fear-based defaults.
It’s what I call “Embody. Anchor. Expand.” And it’s at the heart of the master method.
Step 3: Let Your Decisions Flow From the New Identity
The final piece is action.
The version of you who earns more doesn’t wait to feel confident to make decisions. She moves as the new identity, not toward it.
I asked myself: “If I were already her, what would I do today?”
Would she say yes to that underpriced offer?
Would she chase clients who weren’t ready?
Would she shrink her voice to avoid criticism?
No.
So I stopped. I re-aligned. And my income doubled in less than a year.
Your brain learns through evidence. The more you act from your upgraded identity, the more your brain updates what it believes is possible—and the more success flows without internal resistance.
This is how identity creates reality.
It’s Time to Choose a New You
If you’ve been feeling stuck in your business, your visibility, or your income, don’t just look at your to-do list. Look at your identity.
Who are you still pretending not to be?
You don’t need to hustle harder. You don’t need another strategy to fix something that’s not broken.
You need to choose a new story.
You need to anchor into the version of you who already knows.
You need to let your actions flow from your future, not your past.
This is the work I guide my clients through every day in the yourmoneymaster method. It’s powerful, personal, and permanent.
Because once you shift who you believe you are, the rest starts to align—clients, cashflow, confidence.
Start today:
- Identify the identity you’re still living from.
- Choose and anchor a new one through words, vision, and aligned action.
- Make decisions as if you’re already her.
This is the identity shift that changed my income—and it can change yours, too.
