Rooted & Rising: Tinka Denisheva’s Mission to Elevate Eastern European Women
In the heart of the UK, Tinka Denisheva is leading a new movement for international women in business. As the founder of the Bulgarian Women in Business Club, she’s not just creating a network—she’s building a powerful community where resilience, ambition, and collaboration thrive. From her early days of feeling unseen to being recognized as Business Woman of the Year – International, Tinka’s journey is one of purpose, empowerment, and building global platforms for women who lead.
In this exclusive interview, Tinka shares her vision for the future of women entrepreneurs, her commitment to cultural heritage, and the groundbreaking work she’s doing to break down barriers and build bridges on a global scale.
What inspired you to start the Bulgarian Women in Business Club in the UK, and how has the journey unfolded so far?

The inspiration came from a deep need I felt—both personal and shared. When I moved to the UK, I saw so many Bulgarian women doing incredible work, but they lacked a visible, unified space to connect, collaborate, and shine. I wanted to create that space—a platform where they felt seen and celebrated. Over the last two years, the journey has evolved from local meet-ups to a powerful, trusted network. It’s been a proving ground for everything I’ve learned in sales, negotiation, and networking—and it’s also what led me to my current work as a Community Architect for Business Owners. That same model has now grown into Present Pathway—a platform that offers international women the same opportunity to present their business and grow their community through strategic visibility.
Being named Business Woman of the Year – International is an incredible honour. What did that recognition mean to you personally and professionally?
It was incredibly humbling. Personally, it affirmed that leading with heart and purpose matters.
Professionally, it gave me validation that community-building is not just a passion—it’s a form of leadership. The award also helped shine a light on the work we’ve been doing in the Bulgarian community and opened doors to new, global conversations. It’s a reminder that you don’t have to wait to be invited—you can build your stage, and others will take notice. That mindset now continues through Present Pathway, where women are invited to step into curated live presentation opportunities and expand their reach—an initiative I lead as a Community Architect for Business Owners.
How do you see the unique strengths and challenges of Bulgarian and Eastern European women in business, especially in a global context?
Our strength is our resilience. We’ve grown up navigating transition, adapting quickly, and finding creative solutions. But often, we carry cultural programming that holds us back from visibility—whether it’s imposter syndrome, hesitation to self-promote, or simply not knowing how to access the right rooms. My role is to help women overcome those barriers—by building communities that support their confidence and help them step into their international potential. Present Pathway is part of that mission—it gives international women a tested and supportive environment to step into the spotlight, lead full-length live presentations, and grow new networks with real engagement and confidence.
Your club champions connection, visibility, and growth. What do these pillars look like in action within your community?
Connection means creating trust and genuine support—not just contacts, but a real community. Visibility means providing consistent opportunities for women to share their voices—through speaking events, features, and workshops. Growth means offering the right kind of support: whether it’s business education, networking strategies, or a platform to test their ideas. These are the same principles I now help other women implement as they build their own engaged and sustainable communities through Present Pathway—a platform built to help women lead with voice, attract aligned audiences, and convert visibility into business. It is the practical expression of my work as a Community Architect for Business Owners.
What role does mentorship play in your vision for empowering women leaders, and have you had any mentors who shaped your path?
I believe mentorship isn’t limited to one person—it’s everywhere, as long as we’re open to seeing and hearing it. Some of my greatest mentors have been the women in our communities: members, clients, and even the people I’ve coached. Every conversation is a chance to learn. We grow by staying curious and humble, and by understanding that wisdom can come from above, beside, and even from those we’re leading.
How do you balance cultural identity with professional ambition when building bridges between Eastern Europe and the global business world?
For me, cultural identity is a source of power, not a limitation. I’ve learned how to integrate both worlds—bringing the values and strength of my heritage into every space I enter, while remaining adaptable and open to global collaboration. It’s not about choosing one over the other. It’s about showing the world that you can honour your roots while building international impact. Present Pathway offers that very bridge—where women can present in English, connect with new audiences, and still carry forward their identity and authenticity.
What impact do you hope your leadership and the Club’s work will have on the next generation of women entrepreneurs?
My greatest hope is that we normalize success, visibility, and leadership for the next generation of women—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds. I want them to feel that there’s a place for them at every table, and if there isn’t, they have the tools to create their own. Through the club and my consulting practice—and now through Present Pathway—I hope to plant seeds of courage, confidence, and community in every woman I work with. It’s a journey I lead as a Community Architect for Business Owners, helping others create environments where growth is not just possible—it’s inevitable.
You mentioned feeling connected to a new community with a similar energy. What qualities do you look for in a sisterhood of leaders?
I’m drawn to women who lead with purpose, who lift others as they rise, and who are generous with their experience. The women I’ve met in Global Woman Club embody that—they’re visionaries, yet approachable. What connects us is our shared belief that collaboration is more powerful than competition. I see my role not as a parallel to theirs, but as complementary—we’re all contributing to the same global shift, just from different angles. Present Pathway complements that energy by offering something different—it’s not a networking circle, but a stage. Each event features one spotlight presenter who leads the entire session, honing presentation skills, deepening audience connection, and gaining authentic visibility.
How has being a UN Nation Woman influenced your advocacy for women’s leadership and visibility on a global stage?
It’s expanded my sense of responsibility. I’ve come to realize that visibility isn’t just about being seen—it’s about being heard, being respected, and creating space for others. My work now includes helping other women access that same level of impact, whether in their business, their community, or their global mission. Present Pathway is one way I support that impact—by creating real-world spotlight opportunities where women don’t just pitch, they present with depth, structure, and story. It’s a powerful tool for business growth through presence and positioning.
What’s next for you and the Bulgarian Women in Business Club—any exciting collaborations or growth plans on the horizon?
We’re entering a powerful new chapter. I’m launching a new platform—Present Pathway—where women entrepreneurs can lead their own live showcase sessions in English, in central London. They can invite their audience, step fully into the spotlight, lead the entire session as the featured speaker, and use the experience to convert visibility into trust and real business leads.
We’ve already seen how this model works: it creates trust, generates interest, and leads to genuine partnerships.
Present Pathway is open to Bulgarian and international women alike—especially those ready to grow beyond borders. We’re also developing a booking system and landing page, and the platform will be active on LinkedIn and Instagram to connect with the audiences that matter. This is an extension of my mission as a Community Architect for Business Owners—creating spaces where voice leads to visibility, and visibility leads to growth.
