Renny Omotayo: Empowered to Empower

In a world where leadership is often measured by titles and profit margins, Renny Omotayo stands out as a woman redefining what it truly means to lead. As the dynamic CEO of Flourish Circle and Boldheart Resources Ltd, Renny blends business acumen with heartfelt service, purpose with profit, and vision with compassion. Her journey is not just about building successful enterprises—it’s about building people, empowering women, and transforming communities.

Whether she’s launching initiatives that spark economic growth or mentoring women through her role at Hope Chapel Church RCCG, Renny leads with a rare blend of grace, resilience, and unwavering faith. With every step, she champions a new kind of leadership—one that’s rooted in authenticity, driven by purpose, and centered on impact.

In this exclusive feature, we delve into the story of a woman who is not only breaking barriers but building bridges—one empowered life at a time.

You’ve successfully built two thriving companies, Flourish Circle and Boldheart Resources Ltd. What inspired you to start these businesses, and what vision drives them today?

Both Flourish Circle and Boldheart Resources Ltd were born from a deep, personal conviction: that people thrive when given the space, support, and opportunity to become whole.

Flourish Circle was inspired by my heart to build a compassionate, healing-centered community for women and teens, especially those facing emotional, relational, or identity-based struggles. I wanted to create a space where they could be seen, supported, and empowered to grow. Our tagline, “Together, We Flourish,” speaks to that communal journey of healing and transformation. Today, Flourish Circle continues to evolve as a haven and launchpad where personal development meets emotional restoration.

Boldheart Resources Ltd, on the other hand, is a purpose-led, values-driven enterprise focused on empowering individuals and communities through inclusive employment, training, and social impact initiatives. It was born from a desire to tackle systemic barriers and help people step into roles where they can add value and be valued. At Boldheart, we believe that people are the most valuable resource in any society—and we are committed to helping them thrive personally, professionally, and economically.

As a woman leader at Hope Chapel RCCG, what role does mentorship play in your ministry, and what impact have you seen in the lives of the women you mentor?

Mentorship is one of the most vital and transformative aspects of my ministry. It’s more than a leadership responsibility—it’s a calling to walk alongside women in their spiritual, emotional, and personal growth journeys.

The Role of Mentorship in the Church

Mentorship at Hope Chapel goes beyond teaching; it’s about nurturing, guiding, and empowering. I see it as a channel through which wisdom, faith, and strength are imparted. It creates a space where women can be vulnerable yet empowered, corrected yet affirmed, and challenged yet supported.

We focus on building relationships rooted in trust, prayer, and intentionality. This includes:

  • One-on-one spiritual guidance
  • Leadership training and development
  • Emotional and relational support
  • Accountability partnerships
  • Equipping women to discover and step into their God-given purpose

The Impact I’ve Witnessed

The fruits of this mentorship have been deeply humbling and inspiring. I’ve seen:

  • Women healed from trauma and shame, finding new confidence in Christ
  • Stay-at-home mothers launch ministries and businesses
  • Quiet, unsure women evolve into dynamic leaders
  • Young ladies mentored to embrace purity, purpose, and identity early in life

One of the most beautiful outcomes is seeing mentees become mentors themselves—creating a ripple effect of discipleship, leadership, and empowerment.

Why It Matters

Mentorship helps women bridge the gap between who they are and who God has called them to be. In a world that often overlooks or undervalues women, especially in spiritual spaces, mentorship affirms their worth, unlocks their potential, and amplifies their voices.

You lead with both business acumen and spiritual depth. How has your faith influenced your leadership style and decision-making in business?

Faith is the foundation of how I lead, serve, and build. It informs my values, my priorities, and my perspective on success. Every major decision I make—whether in Flourish Circle or Boldheart—is prayerfully considered and aligned with purpose.

My leadership style is shaped by:

  • Integrity before opportunity
  • Service before status
  • People before profit

I’ve learned to trust God’s timing, to lead with discernment, and to build cultures where grace and accountability coexist. Faith isn’t a side note—it’s the compass that grounds every decision in a deeper mission.

My faith doesn’t just support my leadership—it defines it. It helps me lead with compassion, operate with integrity, and make decisions rooted in purpose rather than pressure. At the end of the day, success for me is not just measured in numbers, but in obedience, impact, and transformation.

You’re known for creating spaces where others can thrive. What does impact mean to you, and how do you measure it beyond financial success?

To me, impact means transformation—creating the conditions for people to live with dignity, purpose, and hope. It’s not just about what we deliver; it’s about what others become because of it.

I measure impact by the lives that are changed, not the pounds gained. It’s in:

  • The smile of someone who feels heard for the first time
  • The independence regained by an elderly client
  • The confidence of a staff member stepping into leadership

Beyond financials, I track impact through:

  • Well-being outcomes: How people feel, cope, and function
  • Equity and inclusion: Who is being seen, valued, and served
  • Sustainability: Are people stronger long after the service ends?
  • Stories: Because behind every number is a voice

I look for signs like:

  • A teen who discovers her worth through Flourish Circle
  • A woman who heals from trauma and becomes a mentor
  • A man who finds dignified work through Boldheart and rebuilds his family

In short, impact is about legacy. It’s about building something that lifts others—even when no one’s watching.

You’ve led numerous initiatives focused on capacity building and community development. What has been one of the most fulfilling projects you’ve led, and what impact did it create?

One standout project was building a culturally competent care framework within Boldheart Resources. We didn’t just recruit staff—we trained them to understand the cultural, spiritual, and emotional needs of service users, especially those from underrepresented communities.

This transformed not just how care was delivered, but how it was received. Families felt safe. Clients felt understood. Staff felt proud of the care they provided. It proved that when you build with empathy, the outcomes speak for themselves.

Another deeply fulfilling initiative was a training and empowerment program for women facing unemployment and emotional setbacks. It combined practical skills development with healing-focused mentorship.

What made it impactful wasn’t just the number of women trained—but the depth of change they experienced. Some launched businesses. Others became community leaders. One unforgettable story was of a mother who, after completing the program, began mentoring other single parents while rebuilding her own household. That’s what fulfilment looks like to me—lasting change that multiplies.

Collaboration is often key to growth. How do you foster strategic partnerships in your businesses and ministry work, and what do you look for in potential collaborators?

I believe in collaboration over competition, and in building with people who are driven by purpose, not just performance. Whether in business or ministry, I foster strategic partnerships by looking for:

  • Shared mission and values
  • Mutual trust and integrity
  • Long-term, impact-focused thinking
  • Clarity in vision and communication
  • Alignment of purpose and principles

Partnerships thrive when both sides are committed not only to what we can do together, but to who we’re becoming as we build. I nurture relationships intentionally and remain open to synergy that elevates everyone involved.

As someone frequently invited to speak at conferences and forums, what message do you find yourself most passionate about sharing with your audiences today?

The message I am most passionate about is simple yet profound:

“Your purpose is valid, and your voice matters.”

I speak most passionately about the power of purpose and reinvention. My journey—from accountant, to woman in tech, to social worker and entrepreneur—has taught me that it’s never too late to realign with your calling.

I challenge audiences to:

  • Stop shrinking
  • Trust the pivot
  • Build boldly from a place of authenticity

Especially for women, my message is this: You are not one-dimensional. You are allowed to evolve. Your journey is your strength.

Too many people—especially women and youth—are silenced by fear, comparison, or past pain. My mission is to awaken their awareness of identity and worth. Whether I’m speaking at a faith-based gathering or a corporate event, my heart is to remind people that when they show up whole and unapologetic, they permit others to do the same.

I speak life, purpose, and clarity—and I’m most fulfilled when I see the light return to someone’s eyes as they realize, “I was made for more.”
